Jayde
(Master Stylist)
With 20 years of industry experience working across Australia, Jayde brings a deep love for all things bespoke hair. From bright, buttery blondes and lived-in balayage to dimensional brunettes, seamless extensions and big, confidence-boosting transformations — her magic lies in taking your inspo and tailoring it to you. Think cuts and colours that enhance your features, suit your lifestyle, and come with maintenance you can actually handle. Jayde lives for long shags, mullets of every length, fashion fringes and full restyles that completely change the way someone feels when they look in the mirror. When she’s not in the salon, she’s at home with her babies, watching hair videos, keeping up with the next big thing in our industry, or winding down with a good comedy or true crime (fuelled by great food — Brass Bookie or Bushfire, obviously). She’s down-to-earth, wildly skilled, and already feels like she’s always been part of the Vault.
Jack
(Apprentice)
Now in his third year of his apprenticeship, Jack has truly come into his own as a stylist. Through consistent hands-on experience and our weekly Training, His skills have grown fast — and it shows. He’s meticulous with his work, takes real pride in the details, and is especially strong with clean, considered cuts, lived-in colour and refining hair so it looks effortless yet elevated. Jack loves the process just as much as the result, always wanting to understand the why behind what he’s doing and how to make hair work better for each individual. Calm, focused and incredibly thoughtful, he’s all about creating modern, wearable hair that feels true to you — the kind of stylist you can trust to listen, execute and keep evolving with every appointment.
Lexie Shay
Owner, Director & Educator
Lex is proud to be part of the prestigious Australian FAME Team for 2025—a huge milestone in her already vibrant career. Over the next 12 months, she’ll be immersed in a journey of growth and creativity, learning from some of the world’s most influential hair artists. This experience will take her overseas and bring her back with fresh inspiration, techniques, and global insights to share with the Vault Ninety One team and community.
Her career so far has been nothing short of colourful—gaining international recognition through education, stage work, and representing leading hair brands as a global ambassador. Now, Lex’s long-held vision has come to life through Vault Ninety One: a salon built on inclusivity, artistry, and connection.
Vault Ninety One is more than just a salon—it’s a space where people feel truly welcomed, knowing their hair is in the hands of passionate professionals. It’s also the foundation for an evolving education hub, designed to support hairdressers at every stage of their journey, while also hosting events that grow and strengthen the wider hair and beauty industry.
Now with full creative freedom in her own space, Lex is just getting started—and the possibilities are limitless.
